Hello! I'm a postdoc in the Geophysical Statistics Project at The National Center for Atmospheric Research. My position is joint with SAMSI, where I spent a very enjoyable year working on projects related to the program on Development, Assessment and Utilization of Complex Computer Models. I received my Ph.D. in 2006 from the Department of Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University, with advisor Mark Schervish.

My research interests include
  • Theory & methodology in spatial statistics
  • Bayesian statistics & inference for complex systems
  • Nonparametric function estimation
  • Methods for large data sets
  • Applications in climate & the environment, neuroscience, and psychology.
More information about individual projects can be found on my research projects page.
