• satellite photos of populous areas The site has a fantastic collection of very detailed satellite and aerial photos and topo maps. All you have to do is enter your street address, and it generally takes you reasonably close to your neighborhood. After a few minutes of fine tuning the zoom, you've got a detailed view of your neighborhood. The resolution of the images can be as good as three inches!! In most of the country, though, the resolution is nowhere near that good.  
• Microsoft's TerraServer The resolution for this neighborhood is only 1 meter/pixel.
