Participant Lodging:

All participants will be staying at the College Inn located on the beautiful University of Colorado Campus (1729 Athens, Boulder, CO). The Inn is located 40 minutes from Denver International Airport. Check-in anytime after 12:00 noon on Sunday and check-out before 10:00am on Thursday. A full breakfast is included Tuesday through Thursday (7:00am - 8:30am) and dinner is available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (5:00pm - 6:30pm) in the College Inn dining hall. Each room contains a MicroFridge, telephone and private bath. Local telephone calls are free. Most sleeping rooms have two extra long twin beds, two dressers, two closets, and two desks. Participants would need to bring an alarm clock since wake-up service is not provided. All rooms are smoke free. The College Inn is an air-conditioned building.

Getting to/from NCAR and the College Inn

We have chartered a University of Colorado (CU) bus to provide limited transportation (that is: only a couple times per day) from the College Inn to NCAR's Mesa Lab. The bus will move everyone en masse between the College Inn and NCAR once in the morning and again after the days' activities (see agenda for evening pick-ups).

Since Monday has some preliminary work, the bus will leave the College Inn promptly at 7:40 Monday morning. Every other day it will leave the College Inn at 8:40AM.

There are a couple of City busses that can also get you from NCAR's Mesa lab back to the College Inn if need be. All route information is available from Denver RTD. The routes of primary interest will be the JUMP, DASH, and SKIP. No kidding.
